Sison, who has been living in The Netherlands for the past 20 years, was arrested by Dutch police Tuesday for allegedly issuing orders from that country to murder former rebel leaders Romulo Kintanar and Arturo Tabara in the Philippines.
The CPP’s armed wing, the New People’s Army, has owned up to killing the two, who were among rebel leaders who led a faction break away from the CPP in the early 1990s.(source:inquirer).
I know majority of the filipinos are in favor of this news. But yet, some left winged party list group(who insists they are right) blocks the filipinos happiness by making moves in the congress that greatly hinders the government in eradicating insurgency.Bayan Muna, who owns some shares in the congressional seat sought an inquiry about the legality of this arrest. And now the open secret come's out. What are there intentions? Do they want to help SISON, one of the many reasons why our nations coffers run low, to be freed. Is this truly the sentiments of the people that they represented.? Maybe, if they represent the NPA's of course.
